QC Checklist
For wire bathroom hardware, quality control should connect AQL sampling with CTQs and inspection checkpoints from incoming material to export packing.

1. Define CTQs before production
Critical-to-quality items usually include dimensions, wire diameter, weld strength, burr control, surface finish, coating thickness, load capacity, mounting fit, and packaging integrity.
2. Four inspection stages
| Stage | Purpose | Typical checks |
|---|---|---|
| IQC | Incoming quality control | Material grade, wire diameter, surface condition |
| IPQC | In-process quality control | Weld strength, dimensions, fixture repeatability |
| FQC | Final quality control | Appearance, coating, load test, assembly fit |
| OQC | Outgoing quality control | Carton marks, packing method, export documents |
3. AQL makes acceptance measurable
AQL helps buyers and factories agree on sampling size and acceptance criteria. Defects should be classified as critical, major, or minor so final inspection decisions are consistent.
